Welcome to Casakim Lakehouse, a secluded 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom cottage on 150’ of shoreline of tranquil Fletcher Lake. Nestled on over 1 acre of tall mature treed land with a large dock and undeveloped Crown Land offering a panoramic view of a pristine forest on the opposite side of the lake. The kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay including a dishwasher. Just off the living room, enjoy the sitting deck with BBQ overlooking the pristine lake. There are three bedrooms on the main level with ceiling fans. The master has a king sized bed, an ensuite with jet tub and shower with heated floors, and a walk out to the deck overlooking the lake. Second bedroom has a queen bed and features a walk out to the deck facing the lake. The third has another queen bed. In the lower level, there is a fourth bedroom with another queen bed with a beautiful lakeview and the fifth bedroom has a bunk bed. There is a 3 piece bathroom with a shower and heated floors. Lower level also offers a spacious family/rec room area with a walk out to the lake and a laundry room. The cottage is carpet free and high quality oak LVP flooring has been newly installed throughout, and it comfortably sleeps 10 guests. Property is equipped with 370’ drilled well, UV water filtre, central heating, air conditioner & generator, and good internet. We provide full bedding including sheets, pillows, blankets, quilts and towels. Enjoy the large level grassy area with a firepit, and the sunny large dock along with the magnificent northern sky, summer sunsets, beautiful fall colours and the sound of the loons on the water. Fletcher Lake is said to be amongst the cleanest in Ontario and is part of the Kawagama Lake sub-watershed which flows from Algonquin Park to Trading Bay on Lake of Bays. You can fish for bass and lake trout in this unique deep freshwater lake and enjoy crown land groomed in winter months for snowmobiling. You will appreciate this spacious lake with crystal clear water for swimming, and diving. Pedal Boat, Kayaks, Lilly Pad, Standup Paddle Boards, and life jackets are available (seasonal). Public boat launch is nearby. In Dorset, visit restaurants, local art and culture, and the famous Dorset Lookout Tower which stands at 465 feet and gives you 360-degree views of Lake of Bays. Hike the trail to the top of Bear Mountain for breathtaking views. Venture out to popular Algonquin Park or Limberlost and WildlifeReserve. Bigwin Island Golf Club is also nearby. Algonquin Park is not far to the east. Guest access 10+ parking space is available on a spacious driveway.
