Several skiing resorts are close by and lots of state parks and trails for other activities (ski, snow-shoe, x-country ski, etc. Located 5 min by car is a 20 mile trail for walking, jogging, biking, snow-shoeing, etc. There is a good size super market (Tops) 5 min by car in the town of Stamford that also has some small shops, bars, restaurants, etc. Golf club and range also 5 min by car in Stamford.y Guest access All 7 acres and 32 acre lake, guests have access to 2 kayaks, 2 row boats and a pedal boat. Lake is swimmable, center of the lake is 22+' deep - its better! Other things to note * COVID-19: although we already undertake rigorous cleaning in our homes, we have now strengthened this to include further deep cleaning and wider use of antibacterial products on all surfaces for the protection of our guests. Paying particular attention to all touching points (switches, door knobs, handles, remotes, etc.) in the cabin. However, we ask all guests during your check-in to do their own extra layer of protection with disinfectant wipes.
