Charming and cozy house in Lærdal

100 years old house with a lot of nostalgia and charm. On the 1st floor there are 2 cozy living rooms with timely furnishings, updated kitchen and bathroom On the 2nd floor there are 4 bedrooms. Located in a quiet and peaceful residential area in the center of Lærdal. Short distance to many historical sites, and great hiking areas in the areas around Lærdal. Walking distance to old Lærdalsøyri with cafes, shops and museums/exhibition. The house is best suited for families with older children, couples, friends or couples. No parties allowed. The space The house was built in approx. 1920. It was completely renovated in 1997. We have tried to take care of as much of the old as possible, while having modern facilities. The house has a large shielded garden with lots of perennials and trees. Many cozy seating areas around the garden during the summer months. The family lived here until 3-4 years ago, now the house is used as a holiday home. Guest access The guests will be able to use the entire house, certain areas are marked with private, must be respected. The yard that is fenced is also available. There is a charcoal grill and a gas hot plate in the garden, feel free to use them, extra gas, firewood and charcoal are available to buy in Lærdal. Pillows for the furniture and blankets are in the pillowcase. There are a lot of plants and shrubs in the garden, which is edible, other can be toxic/harmful to ingest. The garden is therefore not suitable for young children unattended.
