The Mill House

Beautifully renovated 300 year old Mill House, cosy cottage feel on our working farm on the edge of the Wolds. A perfect cottage for two, tasteful and spacious bedroom with on suite bathroom. Snug living and dinning area with warm log effect stove, original exposed beams and all the facilities. Easy access to York, North York Moors, National Park and coast. A short drive from many wonderful attractions and activities. We are unable to take short breaks in July and August . The space The Mill House provides peace and tranquility but is only minutes away from The Bay House where you can get delicious food and local beers. Malton, our market town, is but a short drive. Guest access From your arrival ( we try to be there to welcome all guests when we can ) you have the whole cottage to yourself . Large bedroom with king-size bed, good quality mattress, chest of draws wardrobe chair . Bathroom with roll top bath and shower fitting, toilet , windows with views out across fields. Downstairs comfortable and spacious living room /dining area and kitchen tv log effect fire . There is a separate laundry room with plenty of heat and room for drying clothes / walking boots /storage of bikes etc . Garden and bbq area . Plenty of parking . Other things to note We have working Spaniels which may bark when you arrive and when you leave but are well behaved and quiet the rest of the time as we live in a rural area we are quite happy with the warning when someone is around . They do not live near the cottage but near the parking area .
