Description
Our guesthouse used to be a train station – built in 1912. We’ve lovingly kept the old brickwork, green beams and rosettes. Today, we welcome guests from all over the world: in five cozy rooms with private bathrooms and three apartments. Beds are freshly made, towels are ready. And if you’re planning something special – yes, you can book the whole house. We’re happy to have you! The space The room is located on the first floor, which you reach via a beautiful, wide staircase. It comes with a cozy private bathroom with a shower (including a hairdryer) – directly next to the room, so no worries: you won’t run into anyone on the way to it. There’s a well-equipped shared kitchen on the same floor that you’re welcome to use. In the room, you’ll find a table and a chair, so you can enjoy your meals in peace. You’ll sleep in a comfortable bed – single occupancy only. And of course, there’s a large smart TV(netflix & prime) for your entertainment. Guest access Outside, a small terrace is waiting for you – casually shared with the other guests. Perfect for a morning coffee in the sun or a glass of wine in the evening. And inside? On your floor, there’s a fully equipped shared kitchen with everything you need: fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, even an iron – and of course, proper dishes. Just arrive, unpack, and feel right at home. If you feel like making a cup of tea, a fresh coffee, or even a warm meal – everything’s there. And for a quiet moment in between: you’ll find a small selection of books and magazines in the hallway. Feel free to help yourself. Make yourself comfortable – indoors and out. During your stay We live nearby and are happy to help if you have any questions or need anything. Just reach out – either through the app or in person. Andy lives in the attic of the house and is also happy to assist if something comes up. Otherwise, we’ll give you your space so you can enjoy your stay in peace. Other things to note Our house is wonderfully central. In just about ten minutes, you can walk to the heart of Winsen’s town center. If you’re in the mood for a little trip: the train station is close by and gets you around quickly – about 20 minutes to Hamburg, just 10 to Lüneburg. By car, you’re also well connected: only 7 minutes to the A39 (which links to the A1) and about 15 minutes to the A7. For some fun: Heidepark is around 45 minutes away, the indoor ski hall and the designer outlet about 40.
