The space Woodland Log Cabin | Hot Tub, Trailhead & Games Welcome to Woodland Log- your group will fall in love with this fully furnished and custom built two story log cabin chalet, tucked in the trees just outside of the Big Bear Village area our owners have furnished and renovated their home with your vacation experience in mind providing you with all that you need to relax and unwind here in the alpine. Boasting fine amenities and custom décor throughout you will have the best of Big Bear at your fingertips here as you enjoy your time together in the mountains under the pine trees. Take a short stroll to the Village shops for dining or the marina for boat rentals, fishing and tours and you are just a quick three blocks over to Snow Summit Resort for summertime bike park and wintertime ski park access to the lifts. You can't beat this location year round! Enter your chalet where you are immediately greeted with oak wood accent walls, knotty pine beamed ceilings, and massive amounts of windows that let in the perfect balance of natural lighting and wonderful forested mountain views. This entry level hosts easy and convenient access to a spacious laundry area and storage room that is perfect for your snow gear and lake toys with a washer and dryer being a must if traveling with kids for those wet snow clothes or extended visits to the mountains. The primary suite is so spacious with double beds and offers its own private 3/4 bath and deck access out to the private hard and hot tub area plus a spacious hallway guest bath is also available for your group. Upstairs you will find two additional sleeping quarters, one with balcony access, and another beautiful bathroom for the group, each room boasts amazing cathedral ceilings, warm linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh shower towels when you arrive for your vacation. Big Bear GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY is enforced at all times during your stay and includes removing trash from the property to local trash sites, washing dishes to alleviate wild animals being attracted to neighborhoods. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS, No Over Occupancy, No Loud Music, and No Street Parking is allowed in Big Bear homes at any time. This policy along with a rental agreement will be emailed to you immediately after booking and is REQUIRED by the City of Big Bear Lake for all rentals in Big Bear. If found in violation of these policies guests will be visited by staff and Code Enforcement officers who may or may not issue fines or evictions to the violating party members. No Smoking is allowed in any Big Bear homes. Check-in time is 4:00 pm Check-out time is 10:00 am There is no early arrival or later departure availability during peak season and holidays. Contact our office the morning of arrival or departure to confirm early arrival or later departure availability for your stay. (Fee Applies) Winter Snow & Parking- During winter months the driveways, steps, porches, decks, and other outdoor areas at your property may not be accessible due to snow or ice. Our teams are on fixed routes for snow and work alongside city and county resources to clear roads, driveways, walkways etc. Guests should be prepared in winter months to shovel themselves in or out of the property and off of the street in these snowstorm events. As there is no street parking allowed in Big Bear it is extremely important that guests make every attempt to get vehicles off the street for the snowplows. California Law requires that vehicles traveling to Big Bear from November thru April have snow chains in their vehicles however we also recommend proper footwear, an emergency kit, and an extra snow shovel. Pet Policy- Pet Friendly Homes ONLY Pet Fees $35/Pet Nightly Fee + Tax Pet Policy ~All dogs on the property must be registered and acknowledges with the front desk ~Dogs may not be left unattended in the home at any time ~Pet owners are responsible for cleanup of pets or are subject to an added cleaning fee Service Animals Are Welcome! California Penal Code: (a) Any person who knowingly and fraudulently represents himself or herself, through verbal or written notice, to be the owner or trainer of any canine licensed as, to be qualified as, or identified as, a guide, signal, or service dog, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six month, by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by both that fine and imprisonment. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA. Though individually owned and decorated all homes will be equipped with clean linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy of your property. Each home has a full kitchen with basic pots, pans, dishes, and a small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Your home will not be supplied with paper towels, coffee filters or coffee, specialty kitchen items or appliances, condiments or oils, bathrooms soaps or lotions and hair dryers. There is no Pay-Per-View access or Ordering of Viewing options in any of our Big Bear homes. No refunds or credits will be made for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, TV or other equipment factors beyond our control. Big Bear is a mountain community located in a deep forest which is also home to many forest critters. Common animals or insects that you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects every home prior to your arrival but cannot guarantee that the home will be free of these forest animals or pests. Big Bear Vacations reserves the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
