Hampton Heights is the oldest residential neighborhood and the closest to downtown. You will fall in love with this quiet, laid back, tree-filled oasis within walking distance of downtown. As your super host, it’s our goal to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be. We are a 5 star host and want to ensure that you have a 5 star experience :) If there are ANY issues please contact us first via the AirBnb app and we will do whatever we can to fix them as quickly as possible. Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories with our cozy home. For an optimal experience for us both, we’ve spelled out some simple house rules. Thank you in advance for adhering to these rules and we truly appreciate your cooperation! Please read all of this and message us based on what we said at the end. This is to ensure that if there is any reason the House Rules cannot be followed, you, our guest, will have the option of cancelling the booking penalty free as we have a Strict Cancellation policy. Thank you in advance and truly appreciate your cooperation! No shoes within the house. No pets allowed. A $500 fee will be applied for any pets that are brought into the house. This is because we are a no pets rental and we want to ensure the safety of future guests who may have allergies to certain pets. Only the guests noted in the booking are allowed on the premises. A $30 charge will be added for every extra guest. Absolutely no smoking inside the home. You can smoke whatever you want outside but please pick up after yourself as a $50 fee will be applied if our cleaning crew has to pick up cigarette butts. A $500 fee will be applied to remove ANY cigarette or cannabis smells. Feel free to use the washer and dryer during your stay :) PARKING: parking is provided on the driveway and our driveway is suitable for two sedans or smaller SUVs. If larger/longer cars or if more than one car, you can park directly in front of the house as we always have street parking available. We have recently added a lot of board games, card games like UNO, and decks of cards under the TV and in the drawers of the shelf in the living room. Please return all pieces to the appropriate boxes and games to their rightful places at the end of your stay. Please acknowledge occasionally we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests’ discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. Please do not rearrange our furniture. If you would like to host an event with more than 4 people (i.e. wedding, graduation, not party), please speak with us about it first. NO PARTIES ALLOWED. A $500 fee will be applied to any gatherings that are more than 4 people and not approved. If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. No exceptions. If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. Trash is gray can and is to be taken out every Tuesday evening for early AM pick up on Wednesday. Recycling is blue can and pick up is the 1st and 3rd monday of each month and to be taken out on Sunday evening for early morning pick up on Monday. No eating or drinking in the living room or bedrooms. A cleaning fee of $250 will be assessed for any stains to furniture, rugs, sheets, comforters, etc throughout the house. Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community not a hotel, and is also our family home when we are in Spartanburg, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave. (Respect our property and our things) Damages and breakages If something is broken or damaged please let us know IMMEDIATELY. We will work with you but damages will be billed to you and reported to AirBnb. Checkout arrangements Checkout is 10 AM sharp to ensure that our cleaning crew has enough time to get the house ready for the next guest. Prior to checkout checklist: Place ALL sheets / towels / wash rags on the rug in the laundry room Place ALL dishes in the dishwasher, add a detergent pod, and hit start Place ALL trash + recycling in the appropriate cans outside If you have read it this far, THANK YOU for being a SUPER GUEST!
