Description
Värmland's Fryken lake has inspired Swedish authors Selma Lagerlöf and Astrid Lindgren among others. It could do the same for you. Come spend some quality time in this beautiful retreat, built just a few feet from the shoreline. The space "Solhem" is a beachhouse built right on the border of the mythical Fryken lake in the heart of the swedish province Värmland. The house has everything for a great vacation: it is built 4 meters from the lake, there's 50 meters of clean, shallow water with sandy ground ideal for kids, then 40 kilometers of fishing grounds ideal for swimming and boats - there's one for rowing and a Laser (for fearless sailors) at the house. There's privacy and solitude, yet easy access and proximity to all things civilized (it's only 4km from the center of Torsby) The house is facing south and the panorama of the lake is unforgettable. There's a big playground for kids nearby, a minigolf course, a little shop selling bare necessities, a fine restaurant with rock/folk concerts twice a week, making up for some of the local nightlife. "Solhem" is not a luxury estate, but a perfect place for a relaxed time (yes, there is a sauna, too). It is ideal for couples, or one or two families with kids (6 grownups plus 2 - 5 kids are maximum). The use of the entire house and the boats is included in the price. Internet, laundry, electricity and cleaning is billed according to needs. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house.
