The View - explore Shetland then relax in luxury

The perfect place for exploring the north of Shetland mainland and the outlying islands. This is a elegant retreat on two levels including a large kitchen/dining room, downstairs bathroom and upstairs bedrooms and living area. For families there are child locks, stair gates, cot and high chair available upon request. Part of the downstairs is locked off for work space and will be in use through the day. There are two entrances so your stay will remain private. The View is on a small estate The space Come and stay where the Atlantic Ocean meets the North Sea. The View is close to the north of mainland Shetland and a great base for exploring the whole islands. The ferries to the northern isles are fifteen minutes drive away. The capital, Lerwick, is twenty five minutes drive away and the North Mainland is fifteen to thirty minutes drive away. The View is situated in the village of Brae, which has a swimming pool, playgrounds, a gym and exercise facilities, a doctors and dentist surgery, fuel station and multiple shops and a mini supermarket. There is good public transport and we are fifty minutes by car from the airport and twenty five minutes from the ferry terminal. There are excellent books and leaflets in the house, as well as a guidebook of our favourite places to eat and visit. Guest access Guests can access the porch, hallways, kitchen and dining room, downstairs bathroom, living space, upstairs bathroom and three bedrooms. There is ample parking outside. Other things to note The Studio is towards the front of the house and is occasionally used as office space through the day. There are separate parking and entrances and you will have complete privacy through your stay. The house is on a small estate and is set back from the road with two houses in front.
