Delightful cosy cottage in the heart of Peak District. The Cowshed is situated at Back Tor Farm, Edale. We welcome all enquiries of three nights or more but do prefer Friday changeover dates. It is an essential part of our hosting terms that the person responsible for booking our property makes their full name and mobile number available to us in the Airbnb booking process. 3rd Party bookings are not acceptable. Your booking will be cancelled if this information is not provided. The space Set within the National Park in 5 acres of peaceful farmland and located below the Great Ridge between Mam Tor and Lose Hill. The Cowshed at Back Tor Farm is a great place to come to relax and get away from it all. With panoramic views of Kinder Scout, these freshly converted Derbyshire barns offer contemporary, yet cosy accommodation and all the modern comforts of under floor heating, individual bathrooms and highest quality linen. The Cowshed sleeps up to 4 people. There is a king size bedroom with adjacent family bathroom and a twin/superking size room with ensuite. Travel cot and high chair available on request (guest to bring own bedding). The well equipped kitchen has a dining table large enough to seat 6. The lounge has a log burner, smart TV and doors leading out onto the patio area. We also have another cottage 'The Nook' which sleeps 2. Combined bookings are welcome and discounts may be offered. The location is perfect for walking and cycling, visiting Chatsworth and National Trust properties all year round. Nearby Edale village (the starting point of the Pennine way) has pubs, cafes and a small shop. Guest access Parking for up to two cars is available (please enquire if you would like us to accommodate a third). Other things to note There are two cottages at Back Tor Farm - They are not attached but are fairly close to one another. Please respect our other guests. Car Parking area & laundry room are a shared facility.
