Ailsa Lodge is located in an elevated position looking out towards Scotland's Ayrshire coast and the Firth of Clyde, open plan designed to make the most of inspiring views from the Carrick Hills to the east across Ayr bay, Lady Island, Ailsa Craig, Arran and the Kilpatrick Hills to the west. Glasgow Airport is 20mins , Glasgow city centre Scotland's buzzing metropolis is 25 mins via Dalry train station which is just 5 minutes by car or twenty minutes on foot from the Lodge. Scotland's Ayrshire coast boasts many fine beaches with Irvine beach being just a short 15 min drive away. Local amenities in Dalry include Lidl and Co-op supermarkets, traditional bakery, butcher, newsagents and various takeaways outlets. Sustainability is understated at Cleeves Cabins, but important to us, our Lodges are made in Scotland, clad with scottish larch. Firewood used in our private hot tubs is grown sustainably in view of the Lodges and processed on the farm. Although you would not necessarily be aware our Lodges have the most up-to-date Renewable Green Technology giving you a great experience with minimal impact on the world's resources. Solar Power is key, combined with battery storage and inverter technology. We believe we are leading the way in providing a premium facility without a detrimental carbon footprint. We are looking forward to providing guests the ability to charge their electric cars in the near future from the solar panels on their lodges! To make your stay even more memorable take your health and wellness to a new level and relax in your own private wood fired Hot Tub with amazing views, sunsets and night skye. As a self-catering Lodge, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a freezer and a microwave. The Lodge is a perfect place to unwind and offers television and internet access. There is a king bed in this lodge. There is additional sleeping space in the lodge, comprising a double sofa bed. There is one bathroom, which has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower. Linen, towels and essential toiletries are all included to make your stay more enjoyable. We provide Mecocco hand and body wash made from ethically sourced ingredients and use minimal and recyclable packaging. House Rules: - Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am. - Smoking is not allowed. - There are on-site parking facilities available at the property. - Pets are not allowed at the property.
