On the top floor of the old doctor's residence at Gisselfeld Monastery is this newly renovated apartment. It is approx. 180 sqm and consists of a large living room with exposed beams and a sloping ceiling, two smaller bedrooms and two lofts, a kitchenette and a bathroom. From the rooms there are views of the garden or the fields over to Gisselfeld Castle. The lofts are reached via a steep staircase. On one loft there is a small extra loft, where there is a mattress, where smaller children can sleep well. The space The house is located in a very scenic area right by Susåen, not far from Gisselfeld Monastery with the award-winning Parade House, the Forest Tower and the climbing tracks at Camp Adventure as well as the restaurants Villa Gallina and Rønnede Kro. Not far from the house you will find the lifestyle store Veras Verden. 400 sqm with design, applied arts and interiors from all over the world - and completely local. Hiking or cycling is possible in Gammel Dyrehave, which is located just opposite the house or in Hesede Forest about 1 km from the house. The home is arranged as follows: Living room Large sofa with chaise longue, home theater with 108" canvas connected to the projector with Chrome. In addition, there is a dining area for all guests and a wood-burning stove to warm up in the cold winter months. Bedroom The large bedroom facing the field on the 1st floor has two box mattresses of 90 x 200 cm. as well as a small desk and two armchairs. The bedroom facing the garden has a box mattress of 140 x 200. Both bedrooms have a smaller corner cabinet for storing clothes. Loft The loft facing the field has a 140 x 200 cm box mattress, an armchair and a seat on the landing. The loft facing the garden has two 90 x 200 cm box mattresses and an extra loft with a foam mattress of 120 x 200 cm. Kitchenette With fridge/freezer, small combi oven, induction hob with two hobs, coffee machine with the possibility to prepare a large selection of coffee drinks, electric kettle and toaster. In the kitchenette, there is a small seating area for 4 people. Bathroom With shower and underfloor heating. Hairdryer. Outdoors There are garden furniture sets with the possibility of a barbecue as well as a fire pit and BonFire with various accessories. There is also access to the backyard which goes down to a small forest and Susåen. Guest access There is no washing machine in the apartment, but we are happy to lend our own if needed. There is access to the courtyard in front of the house and you are welcome to take a walk in the garden and the woods around the house. Other things to note The base price is for four people. Price per person in addition to four people is DKK 90. Please note that there are no doors to two of the rooms, as it is a loft (mezzanine/loft bed). The apartment is best suited for stays with families and/or friends.
