The space This recently renovated Queen Anne Manor House is a stunning getaway for a gathering or celebration, situated next to the medieval farmyard. Gather for a sit-down dinner in the dining room that sits up to 16, or keep it casual in the warm and welcoming well- equipped kitchen. After dark, share stories and laughter around the roaring fire whilst the teenagers make the most of the games room. Six of the bedrooms face south over the formal gardens. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe, and the two other bedrooms on the first floor have large private bathrooms. On the top floor the four bedrooms share two shower rooms. The Manor sits in beautiful grounds with a formal garden, a large lawn and an area for relaxing and socialising. You could even cook outdoors on the built-in brick BBQ! A full catering service is available on request. Hampers on request. Other things to note -Larder items such as tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar are provided. -Cleaning items (washing up liquid etc) are provided. -Local catering options are available, just ask. -Activities on the estate delivered by local artisans can be booked separately. -Stair gates are fitted at the top of both staircases but not at the bottom. The person who makes the booking should ensure that guests with young children are comfortable with this arrangement. -The garden contains a BBQ area, seating for 16 guests, and a croquet lawn. -The games room has comfortable seating, smart TV, games console, table football and board games. -The main sitting room contains an oak-top bar area with a fridge to chill your own drinks with ample seating for all guests. -The house contains a wood-burning stove. The log basket will be filled for your arrival and you can help yourself to more logs from the log store. - Our outdoor rainwater-fed spa is available to both Grain Barn and other on-site guests at certain times during your stay from April 2026. -There are 2 smart TVs, one in the smaller sitting room and one in the games room. -Two Bluetooth speakers available for use inside the house, but please no music in the garden. -Security cameras cover the driveway into the Estate. -The Manor is situated on the North side of the Courtyard which also contains the Estate Office with the Housekeeper’s accommodation nearby, so someone will always be close by to help. This is a working estate with some building work currently under way nearby, as well as some farm traffic.
