Description
Traditional red wooden cottage in village of Uvanå on northernmost shores of Lake Nain bordering Värmland and Dalarna. The building was once the village store, which explains the name 'Gammal Affar'. Rowing boat and canoes available on request. Sauna cabin in the garden available on request for additional fee. The space The ground floor space includes a bathroom equipped with shower, sink and toilet, a large lounge/dining room and a brand new fully equipped kitchen and breakfast area. There is also access to the basement from the front hallway. The downstairs lounge area also includes a TV with DVD and VHS players with a selection of films to choose from, boardgames and other entertainment. There is one sofa bed in this area if guests wish to use. The first floor space includes a smaller lounge area with open fire place and additional sofa bed and 3 bedrooms - one with king size bed, one with 2 single beds/ one large double bed and a new room with a double bed. There is also a small selection of books to read if you wish. Guests have access to the large garden and shed building which stores outdoor furniture, several bicycles of varying sizes, garden games and equipment for using the canoes out on the lake. Guest access Guests will have access to the house, garden, including raised sun deck, and shed buildings. There are two cabins located in the gardens which may be rented separately (see separate listing). One of these houses also has the sauna cabin which can be rented by guests at an additional cost if wished. We will endeavour to try and only have guests in either the main house or the garden houses during any given rental period. Please note the hot tub on the deck area in the garden is unfortunately not for guest use.
