Shepherd’s hut with hot tub, alpacas, pigs, ponies

Are you looking for a constant 5-* glamping experience with a difference? Come and spend time in our beautiful Shepherd hut, where you can relax in the hot tub with our 3 lovely Alpacas or hang out with Piggy Pop and Stardust. Don't be put off by the weather; you can be wrapped in a blanket or toast marshmallows on the log fire, reading a book, or watching our indoor Cinema. We are dog-friendly, but have a small charge of £10 per dog. Socials @Washbrooklodgehuts The space Our cosy shepherd’s hut has everything you need for a comfortable countryside escape, including electricity, running water, Wi-Fi and an incredibly comfortable Emma memory foam mattress. We’ve filled the hut with characterful, carefully chosen furniture and all the little comforts that make it feel like a home away from home. The hut has air conditioning for warmer summer days and a log burner inside for those colder evenings, so you can enjoy your stay whatever the season. The hut sits within its own fully enclosed and secure private paddock on the edge of our orchard, with beautiful views across the surrounding fields. It’s a lovely space for dogs to stretch their legs and enjoy the countryside safely, without you having to worry about them wandering off. You’ll be waking up alongside our horses and alpacas, with Piggy Pop and Piggy Stardust often busy foraging nearby. Our very friendly chickens are also regular visitors! Outside, there’s a private hot tub and fire pit, making it easy to enjoy the countryside whatever the weather. Light the fire, toast some marshmallows, relax in the hot tub or simply sit back and watch the animals go about their day. Your own little cinema For cosy evenings in, we also have an indoor cinema with a projector, Chromecast and HDMI connection. You’re welcome to bring your own downloaded films on a phone, iPad or laptop (iPad or laptop works best). The farm & location We’re a small, friendly family-run farm in a lovely village, just outside Lutterworth. The property is gated and secure, while a supermarket is around a mile away for anything you might need during your stay. We’re happy to share our favourite local walks, pubs, restaurants and places to visit, whether you’re looking for a relaxed weekend or want to explore more of Leicestershire. There’s plenty nearby, including Stanford Hall, Foxton Locks and Market Harborough, while Leicester city centre is an easy drive away, with attractions including the King Richard III Visitor Centre, National Space Centre, cathedral and Highcross. There are also plenty of country pubs, restaurants and golf courses within easy reach. Fire pit The fire pit is yours to enjoy during your stay. We provide the fire pit, and you’re welcome to bring your own suitable logs, or you can purchase a tub of logs from us for £10. Guest access Hosts are very friendly and very warm, guests are welcome to enjoy our house, grounds, and meet our animals, one of the home owners will be onsite to welcome you upon arrival or will provide you with access details. Both are very helpful in taking care of your needs and will go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable, happy and enjoy your time in our beautiful home and town. Other things to note There is a small, friendly dog in the house, you are welcome to befriend her but we are happy to keep her away from you and out of your room if you would prefer this.
