Are you looking for a constant 5-* glamping experience with a difference? Come and spend time in our beautiful Shepherd hut, where you can relax in the hot tub with our 3 lovely Alpacas or hang out with Piggy Pop and Stardust. Don't be put off by the weather; you can be wrapped in a blanket or toast marshmallows on the log fire, reading a book, or watching our indoor Cinema. We are dog-friendly, but have a small charge of £10 per dog. Socials @Washbrooklodgehuts The space This little 5* pad is filled with all the creature comforts, electricity and running water. WIFI which is great for a holiday where you can still do a bit of work. EMMA Memory foam mattress and beautiful arty furniture fills the space. The Hut sits in it's own little paddock on the edge of the Orchard which overlooks fields of Horses, Alpacas and the wonderful Piggy Pop and Piggy Stardust foraging for food, of course not forgetting our very friendly chickens that venture to see what is going on. The owners are a very friendly husband and wife with extensive knowledge of the area and thus able to recommend places to visit, things to do and restaurants to eat at. There is a supermarket a mile away that is open until late, the impeccable Grey Goose is also in the same village and offers an array of exquisite British food in a delightful setting, with rave reviews on TripAdvisor. The very new Morton's restaurant that offers fine foods as well as being a coffee house and The Crown for some great pub grub. There are also plenty of English pubs to explore. The house is gated and extremely safe and is one in a hamlet of four others. We are on the doorstep of the beautiful market town of Lutterworth, famous for the building of the jet engine and John Wycliffe who is renowned for translating the Bible from Latin to English in the 14th century. Nearby you can visit the beautiful Stanford Hall stately home and take in its exquisite grounds and visiting car clubs. Of course, you are only a short drive from Leicester City with plenty to see and do, from the Richard III Visitor Centre to the Space Centre, Highcross Shopping Centre and the Cathedral. You can enjoy all the City has to offer from the seclusion of rural England. Foxton locks is a short drive towards Market Harborough which is also a lovely town to go and visit. There are loads of golf courses close by along with an excellent crazy golf course at Blaby which has a fabulous new bistro that has opened next door. Our new Cinema inside... Projector with Chrome cast and HDMI available. Please bring downloaded films with you on either phone, iPad or laptop. (ipad / laptop is the preferred route) There is a fire pit outside the hut and happy for everyone to use, you can buy extra logs from us at £10 per tub or bring logs with you. Guest access Hosts are very friendly and very warm, guests are welcome to enjoy our house, grounds, and meet our animals, one of the home owners will be onsite to welcome you upon arrival or will provide you with access details. Both are very helpful in taking care of your needs and will go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable, happy and enjoy your time in our beautiful home and town. Other things to note There is a small, friendly dog in the house, you are welcome to befriend her but we are happy to keep her away from you and out of your room if you would prefer this.
