Description
Pulsating city of Hamburg – relaxation and sleep in the countryside. Enjoy the big city with its sights, but relax in the green lung in the countryside – both are only 3/4 hour drive apart, but are just as easily accessible by public transport: bus 5 min. from our house and change once and you are right in the city of Hamburg. The basic price refers to a double room, 2 people, without breakfast, several rooms, whole house on request. The space Sightseeing in Hamburg – Relaxing on the Landscape Enjoy the vibrant city of Hamburg while relaxing and sleeping in the countryside... all this is easily possible in 45 minutes by car or 1 hour by public transport! Enjoy the city of Hamburg with its sights, cultural highlights, but relax in the green lung in the countryside – both are only a 45-minute drive from each other. Or would you rather use public transport? By bus from Nahe directly in 25 minutes to the underground station Ochsenzoll (end station) from here directly, without changing trains in 30 minutes to the city center (... you can almost always find a seat in the morning in the subway and you can then relax and read the daily newspaper). I can get you timetable information and tickets (if I'm in the house... otherwise you can get them from the bus driver). Some photos of excursion destinations from the Port of Hamburg and the immediate vicinity of Nahe can be found in the photo gallery, e.g. Ahrensburg Castle (½ hour drive) or the nature around Nahe or the nearby Itzstedter See, which also has a bathing establishment. The lake can be reached in 20 minutes by bike (4 bikes can be rented). You can also reach the Baltic Sea or the Hanseatic city of Lübeck in 1 hour by car from Nahe. Where will you stay? Nahe is just outside Hamburg. The house is located on a quiet residential street. We rent two rooms and if you are lucky, then you have the whole house to yourselves (...if we are also traveling...otherwise you share the house with possibly another guest). The basic price initially refers to 1 room. If you need more, please ask. The house has two bathrooms: the upper one with a large bathtub (only available when the whole house is rented)...here you can relax after a strenuous day in Hamburg as a couple in the bathtub - perhaps with a glass of champagne. The bathroom has a stereo system with CD player and there are some relaxation CDs available so you can also be pampered musically. The lower bathroom has a shower and toilet. This bathroom is included in the basic price for 1 room. Towels and bedding are of course provided. The rooms all have private access to the (covered) balcony, from where you have a magnificent view over the fields and meadows...and if you like, you can enjoy your breakfast on the balcony or in the garden under the apple tree. The rooms are each 18 square meters, each have double beds, TV, stereo system or radio and cozy sitting area. In the large, fully equipped kitchen on the first floor, you can prepare your breakfast (coffee maker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher are available: you have the choice to have your breakfast on the shady kitchen terrace, on the sunny south terrace (with awning), in the garden, in the garden pavilion or in the conservatory. You should stay at least 5-6 days (but that's not a must) to enjoy all these wonderful breakfast or evening places. On the terrace there is an outdoor fireplace where you can end the evening with a cozy fire and maybe a glass of red wine. This house can also be enjoyed in winter. As a compensation for the garden space in summer, the house has a cozy basement bar (only available in winter) and there are wonderful walks in the surrounding area...e.g. to Lake Itzstedt (about 30 min. footpath). The conservatory (also available in summer) is heated in winter. The price refers to a double room for 2 people without breakfast. Breakfast by arrangement 6-10 euros per person per day (please request before arrival!) Towels are provided. Check-out times can be extended as long as no guests arrive on the same day. Please arrange late check-in times in advance. For a minimum stay of 5 days, the use of the washing machine is free of charge. Please only smoke in the garden or on the balcony, not in the house. Please do not eat or drink in the room, because there is carpet everywhere. Eat and drink in the conservatory, kitchen or balcony. Guest access Guests can use: garden, balcony, conservatory, garden pavilion, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms (the 2nd bathroom is only available when renting the whole house), basement bar (only available when renting the whole house or for a special fee), parking space, dryer and washing machine for a fee of 2.50 euros per wash, free of charge from a 5-day rental period, 2 bicycles can be rented. There is a one-time final cleaning fee of 35 euros. Minimum rental period 2 days. During your stay If we are not traveling ourselves, we are there for you (almost all day) with advice and assistance. Help with getting tickets for transport, give recommendations for excursions and sightseeing Other things to note Although the house is not located in Hamburg, it offers a high recreational value, which compensates for the way into the city. The connection with public transport is easy (you only change from the bus to the U-Bahn once, the bus stops directly at the U-Bahn station). The ride is safe and you will regularly find a seat on the way into the city. I can book a day or I can book group tickets (up to 5 people) for you. It is not a complete apartment. Only 2 individual rooms are rented. The basic price is for a double room and 2 people, Each additional person will be charged 20 euros per night (additional sleeping space on extra mattresses in the booked room). If the 2nd room is not rented, it can be rented for an additional 50 euros. Please only smoke outside the house.
