Il Coltro Farmhouse Front On San Gimignano - Il Sole

Il Coltro is a Farm House in front of San Gimignano in Toscana, near Siena. Originally built during Middle Age, when it was a part of a fortified monastery set near a crossroad where the pilgrim’s rout was called “Via Francigena”. The present architecture is the result of various remanagement of the XV and XVII century. In 1997 after a full restoration, 7 apartments have been obtained, which though very comfortably equipped, keep up the touch and style of a TuscanyFarm House. The colours of wall, the furnitures, the fitting, create a unique climate, a enjoyable look back to forgotten life rhythm.
