The house is close to Himos Ski Resort and Himos Golf (25km), shops in Jämsänkoski and Jämsä (11km), swimming pool in Jämsänkoski town, Isojärvi National Park, and horse riding. The house is right on the bank of the lake, surrounded by forest. It's an idilic place for rest from the big city life. There are trees and flowers all around. The slope to shore is paved with stones, steps on the way. Scenic sunsets are guaranteed. The house is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups. The space The house is situated right on the bank of the lake. It is in the middle of the forest, which guarantees isolation from noisy city life. There is a lawn in front of the house, where kids can play ball or badminton. The lake has warm water during the summer period. In autumn or spring it is also pleasant to jump in the lake after a hot sauna. During winter, the area offers other activities: if you like cross country skiing, the lake freezes in winter and you can do sports on it. The lake is 11 km long. Guest access There is access to everything inside the house: kitchen, bedrooms, laundry facilities, washing machine, etc. Wood is available to heat up the sauna. Soap, toilet paper, dishwasher tabs and pillows are provided. Bed linen and towels can be provided for surcharge (common practice in Finnland). You can can also bring your own linen and towels. Please indicate upon booking, which option you chose. Other things to note There is wifi access in the house. The connection is very good and we guarantee fast and easy internet. There is also dvd, sputnik TV (Finnish. English and Russian), and ability to watch movies from the USB stick.
