In the Saint Mary's Church, you will find yourself in 1300 square feet of tranquility. The church was originally built on October 2nd, 1899, and it was closed on January 1st, 2011. We have strived to keep the integrity of the church and have repurposed many items from the original church throughout the unit. We have a fully stocked kitchen with newer appliances. It is stocked with basic amenities such as pots, pans, utensils, paper products, and a baking sheet. We have a Keurig coffee station with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, powdered creamer, and sugar. Under the kitchen sink you will find cleaning supplies, a dish drying mat, and a dish drying rack. There is a dishwasher. The broom is located to the right of the refrigerator. The main living room includes comfortable seating and a flat screen TV with cable and internet. The internet is 2G and 5G available. The TV needs to be kept on HDMI1. There is an electric fireplace on the right underneath the TV. The guest book is located on the desk in front of unit, There Is stationary supplied at the desk. If you would like to write a note to a soldier, we will collect the notes and bring them to the local recruiting station where they will be sent out with our local recruits headed off to boot camp. There is a church organ in the living room area, that can be played. There is the original Confession Booth in the corner. On the left side is where one would kneel and confess through the panel. The bedroom has a king-sized bed There is an oversized walk-in closet off of the bedroom with 2 luggage racks. There is a large dresser as well The thermostat is located near the desk, towards the right end of desk. Feel free to adjust central air, or heat accordingly. The bathroom has a luxury walk in tiled shower, with dual spray heads and shower bench. Double vanity, and mood lighting. We provide a hair dryer and first aid kit. We supply all linens, towels, and wash cloths. Basic toiletries will be on hand if needed, located on the bathroom vanity. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Dryer sheets and laundry soap are provided. Please feel free to bring your own if you like. We do have the soft sided hot tub in the hot tub room. There are towels in there, and a clothes basket. We will treat the hot tub appropriately in between stays. The cover needs to stay on it when it is not in use. The manual for the hot tub is on the shelf. To turn on the jets push the wave button. They stay on for about 30 minutes and shut off. The filter stays on, and temperature stays at 104 if you plan on using it, turn it on when you arrive. That door can remain open if you do not have pets. If you have a pet traveling with you, please shut the hot tub room door. We allow up to 1 pet, if you have a additional pet please get permission before booking Take the wooden bridge across the creek to the shared yard. Shared yard contains a picnic table as well as swing set. Our location is a bit unique. We are off the beaten path of being within close proximity to big box stores, etc. We are located in a quaint village with a restaurant, a small store, laundromat, gas station/hardware store, and post office. Sidewalks are along the streets for easy walking. There is a small general store, post office, bank, park, walking trails, gas station with hardware store, small restaurant all within walking distance. You can walk to several nearby small businesses, or you can drive to larger towns. There is no public transportation. There is a back yard that is a shared space with other guests. It is accessible from the back of the church, and over the wooden bridge. There is a picnic table, swing set and room to walk your dog. This is a non smoking property.
