Our Hungarian-Swabian village is surrounded by forests, 28 km southeast of the most beautiful city in Hungary, Pécs, 28 km west of the Dunaustadt Mohács. There is plenty of land around the old, renovated clay houses. There is no shortage of space here. Over 100 fruit and walnut trees. Native animals such as 30 Zackel sheep, goats, our cows, geese, ducks, chickens... The space Our two Hungarian-Swabian farmhouses are located on the edge of the village, have been tastefully renovated and were furnished with typical farmhouse furniture of the time. A beautiful, well-preserved old crib and cradle are available for the little guests. The added bathrooms naturally meet today's requirements. The thick clay walls ensure a very pleasant climate in the houses. On the large grassy plots of the two houses there are numerous organic fruit trees, which now bear fruit every year. The small house, "Steffi's House" (one room, kitchen, bathroom) is for two people, while the large, so-called long Swabian house (three rooms, one kitchen, one bathroom) guarantees 5 to 6 people a quiet and relaxing stay. There is no narrowness here. About 4 hectares of space. Over 100 fruit and walnut trees. Grill place, a high stand, not just for hunters. We have poultry, chickens, geese, ducks, which run around freely. On request, we can also lock them in a large outdoor area. Old Hungarian animals, such as horned sheep and goats, as well as our Bözsi, the cow, are there to touch and feed. Magyar Vizsla dog Kifli and the Puli dog and some cats are also waiting for our guests. Guests can enter everything, look, feed the animals, pet them, participate in farm work. We are happy to invite you to a wine tasting in our wine house in the vineyard of Mecske. Bicycles are available for rent in various sizes. Please inquire. Geese, ducks, chickens. Guest access In the kitchens you will find wood-burning stoves or there is also the possibility to cook on an electric stove. For self-catering guests, the village shop is available. Even better shopping can be found in Pécsvárad, about 9 km away with large supermarkets where you can buy everything you need for everyday life. Guests are also welcome in our small wine cellar directly above the village for a glass of organic wine or wine spritzer. From the wine cellar you can enjoy a beautiful panorama. Other things to note In the area, there are numerous well-developed and marked hiking routes in all directions through beautiful landscapes. Among them, the most famous is the "blue" hiking trail towards Szekszárd (city of excellent red wines), or towards Pécs (Fünfkirchen) through the beautiful Mecsek Mountains. The tour along the forests and meadows is a special experience for both cyclists and hikers. 6-8 bicycles can be rented from us, 2 more in children's sizes.
