Make our cosy Garden Cottage your home for a few days. Enjoy breakfast on your private terrace or pick up fresh bread from the local bakery. Wander through nature, cycle to the beach or Haarlem, or take the direct train to Amsterdam. At the end of the day, choose whatever suits you: a drink in the village or a relaxing session in your private sauna. The space A place where you'll quickly feel at ease. Our compact 25 m² Garden Cottage is thoughtfully designed for two people: small enough to feel cosy, yet complete enough to enjoy a few days at your own pace. Prepare a fresh breakfast or a simple meal in the compact kitchenette, equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, small fridge, mini oven and a two-burner electric hob. Fancy a relaxing evening? Stream your favourite films or series via Chromecast from your own device, or unwind in your private sauna. The Garden Cottage is located in Driehuis, a charming Dutch village full of character. Tree-lined streets and traditional brick houses give it a warm, authentic atmosphere. Through a passage beside the house, you'll reach your own private retreat with a separate entrance, private terrace and sheltered patio. We live right next door, so we're always happy to help if you have any questions or would like local tips. Prefer to keep to yourselves? We'll happily give you all the privacy you need. Free parking is available right next to the Garden Cottage. During your stay, you'll also have access to two basic bicycles, perfect for exploring the area or running a quick errand. Private sauna Your private sauna is available whenever you like, so there's no need to book it in advance. Afterwards, you can cool off under the outdoor shower on the patio. We charge an energy fee of €10 each time you use the sauna. A sauna set, including a bathrobe and large towel, is available for €5 per person. Payment can be made after your stay via Airbnb or in cash. (Prices valid for 2026.) Pets are unfortunately not allowed, so we can keep the Garden Cottage comfortable for all our guests. Other things to note The Garden Cottage is surrounded by a green garden. We take great care to keep the accommodation clean and as insect-free as possible. Because of the natural setting, a small insect or other little garden visitor may occasionally find its way inside. Fortunately, this doesn't happen often, but it can't be prevented completely. The Garden Cottage has one comfortable double bed. Please note that it cannot be separated into two single beds. Travelling with family or friends, or looking for a second place to stay nearby?
