Aurora is a self catering detached cottage, separated into two snug, small, cosy chalets. Aurora 2 is bespoke, with the bed and kitchenette , dining area in one room with a ensuite bathroom. Aurora is set in an amazing part of Skye, in the most northwestly part. PLEASE NOTE !!! these accommodations are not suitable for large suitcases or travelling heavy Located just a stones throw away from the world-famous Neistpoint lighthouse .Aurora occupies a truly magical vantage point on the tip of the North west jurrasic coastlines. Steeped in breathtaking natural and geological heritage,as well as unspoiled jurrasic coastlines. The unspoilt environment attracts, wildlife from all around , sea birds, eagles , dolphins and basking sharks. A few of our guests have had the privilege of watching these beautiful animals from their own personal veranda Aurora is set back in the hills, and surrounded by wild flowers, as well as streams and a view of the waterfall at Dunvegan head. We also have little light pollution, so that you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the starry night sky during winter months, as well as the Aurora from the veranda Aurora is located by the must see neistpoint lighthouse which is on the detour route off from the nc500 route . Perfect for long or short vacations /staycations , as well as having the peace of mind that you are able to socially distance, whilst relaxing in and around your own private decking area, and your own private entrance,perfect for socially distancing. Or relax in bed and take in the views through the large patio doors. Relax after a long walk in a large double shower, with high pressure, piping hot water and complimentary shampoo and body wash by the highland soap company , Turkish towel dressing gowns and egyptian cotton bedding. You will have your own desiganted car parking on site. Aurora has everything you need , to relax , cook , or eat out with the local three chimneys restaurant, not too far away. Perfect for honeymooners, romantic short breaks or adventure holidays, Aurora is the perfect base from which to explore all that the northwest of skye, and Skye as a whole has to offer Aurora one and two are next to.each other, semi detached very compact spaces however there are separate entrances and you will have private parking and your own private personal outdoor seating PLEASE NOTE, we have a combi microwave oven ,separate hob,no oven . salt pepper provided, no oil, pots and pans provided. starter pack of the tea, coffee, sugar , milk. USB charging ports on sockets Guest access You have your own designated private parking on site. Other things to note we have opted in to the covid cleaning protocols. I am a staff nurse and have implemented strict cleaning procedures between guests . All bedding is washed at 90 degrees, the duvets and pillows are alternated between guests, to allow time to breath and these are steamed, and sprayed, all fixtures and fittings and touch points, lights, switches ect. are wiped with high grade antibacterial wipes. All cutlery is dishwashed on a high temperature. The mattress and curtains are steamed and sprayed with antibacterial spray and the floor is washed with a high grade bleach. I hope these policies and procedures implemented will place your mind at rest . We also have all cleaning products in the accommodation for your use, as well as high grade hand sanitizer. We have a giftshop called triskele it's a small cabin, it's a family run business and there is usually some one there between 09.00 hrs to 17.00hrs.
