CASA BOMPAIRE - Traditional Stromboli house

Casa Bompaire is located on the island of Stromboli with its active volcano, black beaches and flowery alleys amidst white houses. The house is located minutes from the beach, but is also very close to shops and restaurants The house extends over the ground floor and has a shaded terrace with a sea view. A charcoal barbecue allows you to grill outdoors. The space Stromboli is an island, so you get there by sea. There are several means: ferries, hydrofoils, boats of companies of n local avigation. Cars cannot land on the island where only small bee vehicles can circulate, used by the inhabitants to carry out all kinds of services, luggage transport, taxis, etc. I am available to guests for any information on the means to get to the island. Once you disembark, in a few minutes you can reach the house, even on foot. The house is a traditional and old house that we have modernized. It is equipped with ceiling fans in the rooms, blackout curtains and the open spaces (terrace and entrance driveway) are sheltered from the sun. Guest access The entire house is for the exclusive use of guests. It is accessed from a private driveway closed with a gate. There are no flights of stairs but there are some steps to get into the house and access the terrace. Due to the particularity of Stromboli houses, it is not a very suitable place for people with motor disabilities Other things to note The island of Stromboli is small and you can essentially get around on foot: the village can be covered entirely in about two hours. As indicated, there are also taxis that can travel a good part of the island's alleys. For those who want to dine at the Observatory pizzeria, there is a free shuttle service for customers. Linens are not provided but you can bring them from home or rent them from this person at a cost of €18.00 per person/per week for sheets and pillowcases and 3 towels per person.
