Our log cabin is designed with the Danish concept of hygge in mind, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that is sure to make you feel right at home. With an open floor plan and stunning south-facing windows, the natural light pours in, creating a bright and inviting ambiance. Located in the heart of the mountains, this log cabin we like to refer to as a "front country lodge" is the perfect base for all your outdoor adventures. Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, climbing, rafting, or just soaking up the natural beauty of the area, there is something for everyone here. After a day of skiing or exploring the great outdoors, come back and cozy up around the fireplace or enjoy some sun on the porch while grilling up a delicious meal. Please note that the cabin does not include a TV as we like to encourage guests to spend quality time with each other. There are however plenty of boardgames available as well as a fast internet connection for all your Netflix needs in those rest days :) Make sure to chat with Gili, the host who lives in the little cabin at the back of the property, to get informed about latest conditions or just to have a friendly chat and make your first new friend in Golden! Guest access Big balcony on the upper floor, perfect for enjoying a sunny day with friends and the BBQ. Backyard with firepit. Guests have access to the entire 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with kitchen and living room - except one locked room in the basement. Other things to note Please note that this is a non-smoking property. We kindly ask that guests respect this policy both inside the cabin and on the outdoor deck. Quiet hours from 10pm to 7am. The cabin is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, so we kindly ask that guests be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum. Additionally, please be aware that we're situated in a mountainous area, and while we make every effort to maintain safe conditions around the property, guests should exercise caution when walking on uneven terrain or icy patches.
