Only four minutes away by the car is the village LIGARIA where there are mini market, excellent taverns with traditional Cretan cuisine, diving center and organized big beach with umbrellas, sun beds and showers. Also the town of Agia pelagia is only 8-10 minutesv away by the car from MADE, GAZIOU, IRAKLION-CRETE.In Agia Pelagia there are super markets, shops, shops with traditional productes, taverns, bars, beach bars, doctors and farmacy. MADE is a small seaside village(settlement) by the sea cbuilted on a physical amphitheatre with private vacation facilities and local inhabitants.in the village there are not many vacation facilities or hotels.
