Welcome to our charming, more than 400-year-old villa — a former rectory beside a baroque church, peacefully set on a hill and surrounded by meadows and forests. This beautiful countryside retreat offers plenty of space for families, groups of friends, and special occasions. The space Our lovingly restored villa offers plenty of space for cooking together, relaxing, and spending quality time — both indoors and outdoors. Antique furniture and artworks create a warm atmosphere where historic charm meets modern comfort. Having such a spacious house with a large garden that gently transitions into meadows and directly borders the forest all to yourselves is truly something special. Kitchen & Cooking Together The heart of the house is the spacious eat-in kitchen with a dining table for up to 12 guests (extendable if needed). The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, large refrigerator, and a separate pantry. A beer tap system is also available. A special highlight is the cozy bed on the historic tiled stove — perfect for reading, relaxing, or even sleeping while staying right in the middle of the action. Bedrooms & Living Areas One bedroom is located on the ground floor with direct access to the garden, while four additional bedrooms are on the upper floor. During the warmer months, a large attic bedroom is also available, with the option to add extra sleeping arrangements. The living room, featuring a painted ceiling from 1650, invites you to unwind with a home cinema, piano, books, board games, and table football. General Information The villa has two bathrooms (bathtubs and a shower), underfloor heating in the ground-floor bathroom, and a washing machine. Heating is provided by wood-burning stoves (firewood supplied) as well as electric heaters in every room. Hot water is centrally supplied electrically. Garden & Outdoor Areas The large garden offers plenty of space for play, relaxation, and shared moments: – Pergola, grill, and fire pit – Seating for up to 20 guests – Swing, sandbox, table tennis, and large trampoline – Garden games, archery, and a large outdoor play kitchen for children – Lots of room to play, explore, and get creative Guest access The entire villa, including the spacious garden, is exclusively yours. The property is always rented as a whole, so you can enjoy complete privacy with no other guests on site. The former rectory is idyllically located on a hill above the village, with no direct neighbors and immediate access to meadows and forests — perfect for groups, families, or special occasions such as birthday celebrations or relaxed weekends together. My mother Renata lives in a newly built house on the property, thoughtfully designed with guests in mind. The windows face the opposite direction, ensuring your privacy at all times. You won’t be disturbed, nor will you have to worry about disturbing anyone — while still having someone nearby should you need any assistance. Other things to note Enjoyment & Relaxation – Our Extras for You Beer, Food & Sauna We work with a local brewery and offer craft beer in 30-liter kegs or 0.7-liter bottles. A beer tap is available on site. In addition, traditional Czech specialties can be ordered from a nearby farm (minimum order: 10 portions per dish). By prior arrangement, a mobile sauna can be booked directly at the villa – including sauna towels, essential oils, and everything you need for a relaxing sauna experience. Shopping & Restaurants The nearest shopping options are in Planá (about a 6-minute drive). You’ll find supermarkets such as Lidl, Tesco, and Penny, as well as a butcher, pharmacy, ATM, and other shops. In Planá and Chodová Planá, there are also several restaurants, cafés, and an excellent pizzeria. Many shops in the Czech Republic are open on Sundays. Swimming Lake & Outdoor Pool An idyllic flooded quarry lake – perfect for swimming on warm days – is about 15 minutes away by car or reachable via a pleasant walk. The outdoor swimming pool in Planá is only about 8 minutes away and offers a large swimming pool, children’s splash pool, water slide, beach volleyball court, and refreshments on site – perfect for families. Trips & Attractions The surrounding area offers a wide variety of excursions: spa towns like Mariánské Lázně (Marienbad), historic towns, monasteries, castles, and numerous nature reserves are all within easy reach. In summer, canoe trips and cycling tours are especially popular – a wonderful way to explore the landscape actively. We’re also happy to help organize activities such as canoe rental, climbing centers, paintball, or go-karts.
