This is a basement suite, so you may hear your hosts moving around upstairs. There are two small windows in the space, which can be opened, as depicted in the photos. Private bathroom, kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator, washer & dryer all in suite ; shared fully fenced backyard upstairs includes BBQ grill, hot tub and outdoor patio with tables and chairs. We will usually be home at some point during your stay, but living upstairs. We occasionally need to use the laundry area, which is on the basement level, during longer stays. Socializing as you want or not-totally up to you! Eclectic quiet neighborhood of older homes. While there are some college rentals in this neighborhood, our home is surrounded by adult owners and adult rented homes. Children are also around the neighborhood. Inside is always quiet. There is a great public bus system, and several lines within walking distance from the house. The bike path system in Boulder is also fantastic and safe, and can be accessed within a block of the house as well. It's a 10 minute bus ride or 15 minute bike ride to downtown; 5 minutes to CU. We have a secure place to lock up bikes. We love dogs! Baby gate provided to prevent dogs from coming up the stairs while the guest is gone. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the fully fenced backyard.
