Geiereckalm (Trendleralm)

Our Geiereckalm is located in the beautiful Gössgraben near Trofaiach at about 1100 m above sea level / sunny side. The hillside location offers excellent views of the Reiting and Eisenerzer Alps. Ideal place to relax away from any civilization! The space We offer 2 sunny double bedrooms with covered balcony. Ideal for children, there is a mattress camp with max. 8 beds. The room on the ground floor includes a spacious kitchenette and a table stove with a viewing window. A spacious sitting area with dining table invites you to linger together. Running water and a shower are available in the house, the well is in the courtyard. Central heating in all rooms is fed via the table stove as well as the water is heated with it. There is no electricity up here, but child-safe gas lamps provide warm light. Outside we have a covered pergola with a steel stove for grilling. Wood for heating and grilling is included in the price. Guest access You can use the house and the entire outdoor area. If there are many people in the house, there is a second quiet place... our very "comfortable" outhouse near the barn. Other things to note The cabin is equipped with everything, only the food is to be brought. During the winter months, snow chains are absolutely necessary because of snow and ice on the access road. In the most extreme emergency, transport to the cabin can be arranged for a fee.
