Lovely and cozy mountain cabin located in spectacular surroundings offering magnificent views and plenty of opportunities for hikes and fishing. The cabin sleeps 4 people and has a wood burner, an electric toilet and electric oven/hob. The space This is the perfect place if you want a brake from the hustle and bustle of daily life! The cabin has no wi-fi or television, but offers board games, playing cards, silence and magnificent views, and - now and again - the lovely sound of rain against the roof. The scenery is truly stunning, offering endless opportunities for hikes and tranquility. Grocery shops are located in Tyin and Øvre Årdal (where there is also a swimming pool), both about 20-30 minutes away by car. You get fresh water from the nearby waterfall or water posts, unless you visit during the winter, when it is advisable to bring your own - as the waterfall will be frozen solid! Guest access The cabin has an electrical heater and an electrical oven with two hobs. Pots and pans, utensils, cutlery, cups and plates are provided, as are soaps and detergents. There is no fridge, but a cupboard outside the main body of the house that will keep your milk and cheese cool. Mattresses, pillows and duvets are in place, however you will have to bring your own bed linen/ sleeping bag and towels. There is also an electrical toilet, but please note that the burning and cooling off may take some time and that the cabin can not be vacated until this process has finished. Other things to note During the summer it is possible to drive almost the whole way, however you should be prepared for a 10 minute walk uphill to the cabin. If you visit during winter the back road will not be visible (we usually get copious amounts of snow up here!) and you will have to park in the (large) parking lot by the side of the main road and ski to the cabin.
