This is a comfortable, quiet, self-contained ground floor apartment surrounded by fields and hills. Ideal for short retreats or walking/cycling - we're off a quiet road popular with cyclists. Lots of hill forts and 2 stone circles in the area. We're one & a half miles from the famous Samye Ling Tibetan Buddhist Centre and 20 mins away from the A7 and M74. (Also 20 minutes away from the nearest shops)! Possibly handy as a stop-over on the way to Edinburgh which is just under 2 hours away. The space Marilyn's Motel was a joinery workshop and when this moved to Lockerbie, the motel was born! The name was a joke which stuck. Features great sand-blasted glass and hand-painted decor.
