Small vacation home "Hoher Stein" by the Friedewald

We rent our small, cozy vacation home, which is located right on the edge of the forest in nature. The guest house is ideal for 2 adults and small families (+2 children) who want to relax and unwind from the stress. There is also space for 4 adults who want to hike through the adjacent vineyards for a weekday excursion. In the Elbe Valley, you can also make a lot of trips by bicycle. We look forward to seeing many friendly, respectful and tidy guests. The space The entrance area is a separate room that has a fireplace. Here you can end the evening comfortably on a sofa reading a book overlooking the garden. On the first floor, there is a small kitchen with sink, stove, oven, coffee maker, cutlery, dishes, etc. and a clean work surface. At the small dining table you can sit comfortably and play games. From the sofa bed you can enjoy the quiet evening in front of the TV. This can also be used as an additional single bed or as a double bed. There is no air conditioning, but in summer it is pleasantly cool due to the historic thick foundation walls. During the heating season, the underfloor heating is in operation. Please note the appropriate house rules. A small spiral staircase leads to the open, upper area. Here you will find the double bed (queen size) and a small children's sofa bed (kids up to 8 years). If necessary, a baby bed (available) can be set up. All small windows have fly screens and may be used for ventilation. Guest access Our guests have their own access to the house from the street and can also use the small lawn. There is a small garden gate. The car can be parked safely in the immediate vicinity. Bicycles can also be parked in the grounds (partially protected from rain) within sight. Other things to note We have a residential street where cars are only allowed to drive at walking speed. Please pay attention to pedestrians and children playing in the cul-de-sac. We are a non-smoking household. There is no smoking in the house. Smokers should please leave no visible traces in front of and on the property.
