Hekla Comfort House, Modern, Secluded & a Hot tub

The house is located in a quiet, rural area in the center of South Iceland, only 7 min drive from Hvolsvöllur and Road 1. It's a perfect base for exploring the South Coast. Landmarks in the vicinity are Seljalandsfoss, Þórsmörk, Skógafoss, Vestmannaeyjar, Black Sand Beach and Landmannalaugar, as well as the Golden Circle. You will love our house with all its comfort, view and great location. Our place suits couples, small groups and families. Licensed & inspected by the Icelandic Authorities The space The house was built in 2005 and then renovated in 2016. It is located in the middle of 4 hectares of private property that belong to it. It is 100 square meters, bright and airy, has three bedrooms, a combined living room/kitchen area, a dining room equipped with a sizable dining table, a singular bathroom equipped with a shower and washing machine, drying rack and of course the all important outside HOT TUB. The kitchen itself is fully equipped with a ceramic stove, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, blender, cooking utensils, a full dinner set, microwave and outside BBQ. The living room comes with a 43" TV that includes Netflix and a DVD player. The list of complimentary items includes: Wi-Fi, (optical fiber), fresh linen & towels, toilet paper, hand wash, shampoo & conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, tea bags, ground coffee, coffee filter, household towels, cooking oil, vinegar, salt & pepper, variety of spices, bin liners, tin foil, baking paper, plastic bags and candles. For babies we have a travel cot and high chair (please let me know if you need them). Guest access The whole house is available for guests but outside storage is closed.
