Southend Airport Bed and Breakfast

Our rooms are cosy comfortable and have side lamps for a soft ambience. Double beds in both rooms with memory foam comfort toppers. We have black out blinds at the double glazed windows. Brilliant views over Southend Airport runway perfect for plane spotting. We supply Tea and coffee making facilities, fresh water bottles, biscuits towels, earplugs, and fresh flowers in each room. We also include Free view T.V and Wi-fi. During the winter months the heating is set on a constant ‘warm’ setting The space We are with in walking distance to Southend Airport and the train station. We are in the middle of both Southend Airport and Rochford train station . Rochford town is packed with amazing restaurants including A Turkish, Portuguese, Chinese, 2 Indians and a superb Italian all excellent eateries and within a 15 minute walk from our B and B. There are also 6 lovely olds comfortable pubs, and The Anne Boleyn- Hungry horse Resturant pub is right oppersite our B and B. Guest access We are a small Bed and Breakfast house and we live in the property - Guests only have access to the bedrooms and 2 shared bathroom areas. We have a lovely breakfast room for our cold buffet breakfasts served between 7:30am and 9:30am at an extra charge of £3.50 pp. This room is for breakfasts only and there is no facility for evening eating on the premises. During your stay As we live on The premises were always on hand to help out with Guests questions. We hope to give as much information to our Guests as possible so there stay is enjoyable and although we’re very happy to meet our Guests we enjoy our own privacy in the same way we respect our Guests personal space. We like to make all our arrangements with our Guests through Airbnb messaging service. Other things to note House policies : This is an Adult only B and B We operate a very strict NO SMOKING Policy and do not permit any smoking in or on our premises. We do not allow Hot takeaway food to be bought into the House /Rooms as this would make our lovely rooms smell and cause a nuisance to our other Guests. As our shared bathroom upstairs is next to the bedrooms we ask our Guests not to use the upstairs shower after 11pm . There is another walk-in shower room downstairs and robes and slippers are provided for late arriving Guests. We close at 11pm, and give or take 5 or 10 minutes after we do not accept later check- ins than 11pm as this disturbs our others Guests. However once Guests have checked-in they may come and go as they please and no curfew is imposed other than to respect always the other sleeping Guests. An earlier than 6am Check-out has to be confirmed prior to booking.
