Pumphouse Cottage, a cosy country/coastal retreat

Pumphouse Cottage, named for the Victorian well situated beneath it, is a self contained annexe in picturesque Trunch. It has been recently renovated and has a private courtyard entrance, kitchen/dining area, bathroom, living area, one double bedroom, a spacious private garden, and off street parking. It lies in the North Norfolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is only a short distance from the sea. The space The annexe is to the rear of the main house, and benefits from the peace and tranquility of sitting back from the road and being surrounded by fields. It is entered from the courtyard on the right hand side of the property, where the charming entryway will lead you through to a spacious and well-equipped kitchen with dual aspect windows for views of the garden as you cook and dine. The living area has a comfortable sofa and armchairs, blankets, smart TV, games, books & magazines. Two large windows look out onto the garden and French doors opening onto a back patio, which has a garden table and chairs with umbrella, outdoor cushions and blankets, and sun loungers for your use. The bedroom has a cosy and comfortable double bed, a wardrobe and dressing table, and leads onto the bathroom with a good size shower and towels, hand soap and a hairdryer provided. We also provide a clothes airer for any damp clothes or towels from the beach you may wish to dry. There is central heating throughout, 2 plug-in fans for use in hot weather and plenty of electrical outlets throughout the space. Guest access Upon arrival we can greet and show you around, or alternatively we do have a lock box to allow flexibility. You will then be left to enjoy your privacy, we live in the main house next to the annexe so are nearby and can be reached by phone if you need us. You can park directly outside the annexe entrance by simply driving straight up the gravel driveway to the right of the main house, and the private courtyard entrance to your accommodation will be on your left. Other things to note We adhere to Airbnb's 'enhanced clean' protocol, following a thorough cleaning checklist between each set of guests. All high touch surfaces will be disinfected, all linens washed at high temperatures, and extra cleaning supplies will be provided for your own use during your stay.
