Raka Cottage

Raka Cottage is free-standing, private from the main house and nestled between trees in its own garden. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. You have use of the swimming pool and safe parking space on the premises. The kitchenette is fully equipped and there is a private Braai (Barbeque) area. The cottage is serviced every day. Nelspruit is close to KMI Airport, the Kruger National Park and Mozambique and a central point to take day trips to Hazyview, Sabie, Graskop, Pelgrims Rest and Baberton. The space A "4X4 trail" with steps lead you through the Sub-tropical Lowveld garden to the cottage. There is an easier route around the house with easy steps. You are welcomed with fruit, coffee and tea. For Breakfast there is complimentary Rusks, Muesli, Yoghurt and Fruit juice to enjoy while listening to the abundant bird life. We have a Salamander, Karoolsie (male), that lives in a crack in the nearby rocks for the past ten years. We occasionally supply him with worms, which he took from my hand. My first guests discover that "he" become a "she", as they spotted three little babies exploring the area! Guest access Raka Cottage has it's own private garden where guest can relax under the trees. There is a swimming pool where guest can cool down and soak up the sunshine. Other things to note Nelspruit boasts abundant sunshine and moderate sub-tropical climate. A lush landscape and a variety of nearby attractions awaits you. Nelspruit also acts as the gateway to the Kruger National Park and Mozambique.
