Relax on the huge front deck and enjoy a meal cooked on the grill with your evening cocktails! Back patio has a small fire pit for roasting marshmallows! Plenty of space for large groups to spread out!! We are not on site, however we can be reached and also have a 24 hour emergency management team on call that can help out. Take a hike in the Rocky Mountain National Park, our neighborhood is right before the entrance. Enjoy the sweet town of Grand Lake and all of its bars and restaurants as well as art galleries and other local shops! Rent a Boat and cruise around the beautiful Grand Lake, or go swimming in Lake Granby! I promise you will never get bored and you are sure to make great lifelong memories! Our cabin is outside of the Village of Grand Lake and right before then entrance to the Rocky Mt. National Park. You can escape the crowds of town and relax and enjoy the quite. We have a large deck with a grill where you can enjoy the view of the Never Summer mountains and bird watch, the hummingbirds will keep you busy! Snow shoe or cross country right outside the door, the golf course next door has 35 miles of groomed trails. Cabin is located only 1/2 hour from Granby Ski Mountain, 45 Minutes to Fraser and Winter Park Skiing. There are Wifi, instructions in the guest book along with other information about the cabin and Grand Lake. Everything is fully stocked, coffee, tea, towels, bed linens, kitchen cooking supplies and utensils. You need only bring food! Or go into town and leave the cooking to everyone else. Groceries are best purchased prior to leaving Denver or in Granby at the City Market, the prices are much less than in Grand Lake. There are two grocery stores in Grand Lake, however it is a bit more expensive. Grand Lake has wonderful restaurants and little shops in town!! A few of our favorite restaurants are the Historic Grand Lake Lodge located just inside the Rocky Mtn. National Park, the view is amazing and the food is fantastic!! El Pacifico has delicious Margarita's!! The Sagebrush is terrific any time of the day, breakfast, lunch or dinner!! One very special place to get brunch is Fat Cats, Friday, Saturday or Sunday's!! The hubs and I personal favorite treat is to eat at Rapids Lodge along the River, you can enjoy appetizers and cocktails early or call for a beautiful dinner reservation, say hello to Titania and Max for us! You can pretty much guarantee a moose will wander past you to get a drink at the river as you enjoy your dinner. There is a lovely visitor center right before you turn into the town of Grand Lake with so much information on all the many hikes and trails there are ATV and boat rentals, horseback riding, go-carts, message and spas, golf, beautiful Hot Springs only 20 minutes away. I could go on for days about all the things to do in Grand Lake, so a quick stop there would easily answer any questions you might have. Summer time brings BINGO to the park in town every Friday and Saturday night!! Great fun for all ages!! Enjoy the Theater? Well go and see our wonderful repertory group!! They are fantastic!! The Golf Course is outstanding! Watch your ball fly for miles!! Or just grab a drink and a hot dog in the club house and enjoy the view. Trail Ridge Road will be open during summer stays so take the scenic drive up and over into Estes Park for the day, find a ghost at the Stanley Hotel!!! Shop the wonderful little stores, eat some yummy taffy!! So many animals to see!! Guests have seen moose walking around in front of our cabin! I always spot the little fox walking around about dusk or early dawn, so watch for him :) The birds are my favorite and different ones come and go all season, how many different species will you see? Let me know! Put some feed out for them - you'll see the bucket :) There is plenty of space in our cabin. You will have room to gather as a family as well as private space for when you want some quite time. Enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories! There is a binder in the cabin with many of the local attractions, please take a look! Everything is less than a 5 minute drive! Our neighborhood is right before the entrance to Rocky Mt. National Park and the sweet town of Grand Lake is only 2 miles away. Winter months bring additional house regulations regarding heat and water issues that will be required and agreed to at check in, guests must agree to turn water on and off upon arrival and departure as well as instructions regarding home temperature settings upon departure. Trash disposal instructions at check in will be disclosed by owner to renter and must be agreed to prior to check in. Up to two dogs are allowed per stay for an additional $25 cleaning fee and renter must agree to pay prior to check in. HOA rules and regulations must be agreed to by renter prior to check in. If any type smoking is detected in or around unit after check out by housekeeping, all deposit will be forfeited, this must be agreed to by renter prior to check in. Parking spaces limited to two spaces, no trailer or boat parking available.
