The Snug at The Mill House is a newly refurbished luxury hideaway set on a privately owned country estate on the river Wylye. A very quiet and tranquil location ideally based for site seeing, 5.5 miles to Stonehenge Visitor Centre, 8.5 miles to Cathedral City of Salisbury, 13 miles to Longleat Safari Park, 30 miles to Bath. It is very idyllic, ideal for couples who are looking for a romantic hideaway or for two friends wanting to stay in a cosy property and to explore the local area. The bedroom has a huge, brand new 6ft bed with top quality bed linen and towels. The view from the bed looks out onto the stunning river. The living space has a log burner (basket of logs included) a sofa, TV and table and chairs. The kitchen area incorporates a fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, electric hob, combination microwave and utensils. The bathroom has a free standing bath for relaxing long baths! There is beautiful private terrace area directly outside the snug where you can sit and enjoy a drink while you watch the river while swans, ducks, geese or otters drift by, there is also an outdoor log fire to keep you warm if evenings are chilly. We can provide secure storage for bikes if you are bringing them with you. There is free parking with the snug. There is free parking within a 1 min walk. Other things to note Access will be via key in a lock box outside the property. We can provide a secure place to store bikes. The accommodation is not suitable for infants or children and is for two adults only.
