Our biologically renovated half-timbered villa is in the best location of Bad Sachsa. Just 3 minutes to the Salztal paradise with fitness, bowling, tennis, children's playground, adventure pool, holiday world, sauna and ice rink. In 5 minutes, you can be in the forest or in the restaurant. The location on the slope allows an excellent view of the foothills of the Harz Mountains. The space Our half-timbered villa, Villa des Artistes (formerly Villa am Pferdeteich) dates back to the turn of the 20th century. With its glass conservatory, balconies and verandas, it invites you to linger. Here, where the South Harz mountain and forest air is uniquely beneficial to the climate, you can relax, meet with friends and family, enjoy the offerings of this delightful small town, hiking, ice skating, swimming, skiing, tobogganing or just reading or playing with the children in the play paradise. Our villa is located in one of the best locations in Bad Sachsa, on the Brand. From it you have a wonderful view of the nearby forests, over the small spa town and far into the country to the forests and mountains of the South Harz. After the best renovation and modernization work, it reopened its doors in 2018. All construction measures were carried out under low-allergy, low-pollutant and building biology measures. All floors are oiled oak planks. The walls are finished with clay and lime plaster. This villa has an apartment with 120 square meters on the first floor, which offers enough space for 10 people. Four bedrooms with double beds of different sizes, two of these rooms have their own shower room, the other two bedrooms share a bathroom with bathtub, a large living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a glazed veranda offer you the pleasant luxury for comfortable living. In summer you can indulge in the southern sun in the garden and in the winter months you can heat the stove in the living room to enjoy a wine, tea or whiskey from the nearby distillery by the blazing fire. Guest access Our guests have access to the entire first floor apartment and garden Other things to note You can bring your own bed linens and towels. However, we can also provide a laundry package (sheets, towels) for €18/person. A tourist tax of €2.90/night is payable on site for adults and €1.30/night for young people aged 12 and over. Please wear slippers inside the apartment and only heat the fireplace with wood or wood briquettes (no coal!!!!). Please pay attention to the oxygen supply when heating!
