Home in Wolfenbüttel

The room is located in a large half-timbered house from the 16th century. century in the "Little Venice" district in Wolfenbüttel, right in the heart of the city. The castle and the Herzog-August Library, for example, are a 5-minute walk. We look forward to seeing high-quality guests who want to experience Wolfenbüttel and have fun feeling comfortable in a house with history. We are not suitable for assembly workers or fitters. The space The guest studio offers you a combined living-sleeping area with a gallery and an attached bathroom with shower and toilet at your disposal. The house itself is very spacious and historically unique. Many rooms such as the kitchen, etc., as well as the garden can of course also be used. Guest access The guest studio is located on the 2nd floor, so you have access to almost all rooms of the spacious house if you follow the large open staircase up. Of course, you have the option to use the kitchen and enjoy the small garden. During your stay Burkhard is usually available from late afternoon to evening and then again in the morning, Stefanie during the day - we are happy to answer any questions you may have. Other things to note There is a dog (an Irish wolfhound) living in the house, which unfortunately excludes younger children as guests due to its size and strength. The dog is friendly to all guests and does not stay in the guest area - but allergy sufferers should be aware of its presence. Three cats also live with us, but they are free-range and mainly outdoors, but here too, possible sources of allergies must be pointed out. Otherwise - if you want to enjoy an animal petting session - all our animals are available to you when we are in the area ;-) Parking is prohibited throughout the street, but there is paid parking nearby, which is free from Saturday afternoon to Monday morning at 9 am - as well as on public holidays. We are happy to provide our guests with our own parking space, which is located nearby, if required and available for 4 euros/day.
