The Cobbler's Cottage

Nestled in the scenic North Yorkshire village of Sessay, this charming former cobbler's cottage offers a spacious retreat. Inside, you'll find a wood-burning stove, TV, Blu-ray player, and a modern kitchen equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee maker, and a washing machine. Step outside to a private patio complete with a dining area and barbecue. Plus, we warmly welcome one well-behaved pet, so you can bring your furry friend along if you desire. The space The cottage was a former cobbler's workshop for the village and was converted about twenty years ago to become ancillary living accommodation for the main house. The cottage has recently been refurbished including a new kitchen. Guest access Guests have access to the cottage through side gate and can relax on a private patio. Other things to note The cottage has a dedicated off road parking space (see picture). Our 7kw untethered EV Charger is available for your use. You will just need to bring your own charging cable. Local charges apply (enquire for more info). Granny cabl​es (connected to a standard plug socket) are an absolute no-no as they not only pose a fire-risk, but also void our insurance, so leave those at home.
