Woodland Lodge is a single-storey, detached lodge set at the bottom of a steep hill in a quiet part of the village of Staithes, in the North York Moors National Park. With a small enclosed courtyard and an open-plan living space as well as private parking, Woodland Lodge is the perfect base in which to relax after a day of exploring this fantastic coastal area. Staithes Beck runs alongside the site with its own waterfall and wildlife. It also offers bicycle storage, and an outside tap. The space All rooms are heated with modern electric heaters. There is a fully fitted kitchen with full size fan oven and glass hob. All you need for a comfortable stay are included, bedding, pots and pans, hairdryer etc. There are vertical blinds in each room that offer privacy and an enclosed yard with patio table and chairs. There are two leather sofas that allow each guest to stretch out after a busy day walking. Guest access We pride ourselves in being one of a handful of properties that include parking right next to the property. There is a car park at the top of the village where you can find a tourist information centre, café and gift shop. It is a great place for access to picturesque walks and quaint villages as well as good food and drink. Please be aware that we are at the bottom of a steep bank, Staithes and the surrounding area is very hilly but that is what makes it so beautiful. Other things to note Free Wi-fi is included and please note mobile phone signal isn’t great in this part of Yorkshire. The best one at the moment is EE.
