In the beautiful village of Atsipopoulo a few kilometres from Rethymno centre, you will meet the traditional guest house 'Villa Elia', a 150 sq. metres with a private swimming pool that can host until 8 persons in 4 bedrooms. Villa Elia locates at the center of village Atsipopoulo, which means that local amenities (restaurants, supermarket, coffee shops, ATM, pharmacy etc) are only 2 minutes walking. However, the villa keeps its privacy and its calmness inside the nature. The space The owners have respected the traditional architecture of Crete and have used indigenous materials such as stone and wood. However, they have constructed a very comfortable house, as it is the most important point of holidays. They await you to experience the Cretan hospitality, tradition and history, as well as pleasurable moments of relaxation and serenity. Villa Elia is one of the two-twins villas that locate at the center of village Atsipopoulo, which can meet all your first needs. Supermarket, bakery, groceries and butchery shop, cofee shop, restaurants, ATM and pharmacy are all in walking distance (200 metres from the entrance of the villas). However, as you come in from the entrance of the villas, the whole atmosphere changes, as our villas locate inside the nature in a peaceful and ideal for relaxing enviroment. The center of Rethymno is also 5 kilometres away and 10 minutes drive. Villa Elia is concstructed in maisonette style, measures 150 m2 and has a private swimming pool and balcony. Moreover,it can host 8 persons in 4 bedrooms. Two of them have a double bed and the rest two have two single beds each. On the ground floor you will find the living area with a fireplace, a full-equipped kitchen and a dining area. It also includes the first two bedrooms, one bathroom and a lavatory. The top floor consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a lavatory and a balcony with a view of the traditional village nearby and the nature. All the rooms are air-conditioned. The villa is equipped with Satellite television, DVD player, CD Player and radio, Coffee machinet, Microwave, Toaster, Dishwasher, Clothes washer, Deposit box, Hair-dryer and Baby cot. The exterior of the villa includes a 27 sq.metres private swimming pool, a dining table and seats for all the 8 persons, as well as 8 sunbeds in order you can enjoy the cretan sun. The swimming pool of the villa can also be heated with an extra cost of 40 euros per day (upon request at least 7 days before arrival and valid only for the whole booking) In addition, each villa has its own barbeque facilities for your personal use. The location of the villas are ideal for exploring our whole island. Located in the center of the north part of Crete, only 3 kilometres from the highway provides easy access from the local airports (Heraklion and Chania) and the opportunity to visit from the big cities of the island to the smallest beaches in both north and south part of Crete. In addition children will for sure love it and will spend most of the day at it. -VIlla Elia is designed absolutely for your holidays. It has logically big rooms, all the necessary facilities and comfort togehter combined with the traditional architecture of Crete. And don't forget that all rooms are air-conditioned. -Villa Elia is only 3 kilometres from the interchange of Atsipopoulo, which provides access to the highway of Crete. As a result, villa Elia has easy access from the two big airports of Crete (Chania and Heraklion) and also is ideal for exploring the whole island of Crete (which has a lot of worth visiting places), as it is in the middle of the island. -The city of Rethymno is only 10 minutes drive from our villa, so having a walk at the old picturesque small roads of it, it is more than easy. -Don't forget to explore the old part of village Atsipopoulo. Its beauties are not so famous, but with a small walk at its graphic neighbours and also the contact wit the local people will impress you. -Our family lives only 1 kimometer of the villa, so we are available to come at any time and nothing is too difficult for us.
