B&B in the church of Etersheim: Top floor room

Surrounded by the beautiful countryside of North Holland, 30 km North from Amsterdam, the former Dutch Reformed church of Etersheim is located next to the Marker lake. This historical heritages is our home since 2002. Since 2012 we have added two nice rooms with private bathrooms for bed and breakfast: This add is for the spacious Top floor room. You can also look for the add for the Ground floor room. The space The spacious Top floor room is situated high up in the church building, with an adjoining private bathroom with shower. The room is very light and has large windows. Because of the height, you have a wonderful view, overlooking the countryside and Marker Lake. The space is suited for 1-3 adults. The room is furnished with a king size box spring and a single bed. There are two easy chairs present, and a table and chairs underneath the window that offers the nicest view. Television and Wifi, tourist information about the area and some books, board games and toys are present in the room. You can make coffee, tea and hot chocolate yourselves, a microwave, mini fridge, sink and tableware are also present. The bathroom contains a spacious shower cabin, toilet and sink. A baby bed, -chair and potty are available. Guest access Enjoy breakfast privately up in your room, or downstairs in our grand family living room with church windows. In the garden around the church are several nice seats for you, and on a warm day breakfast can be served outside. (The room price includes breakfast.) Good to know: * During the cold season, breakfast will only be served in the B&B room. (nov.-march) * The room is only accessible by stairs (up to 3th floor), and also includes some steps itself. * Smoking is prohibited in the building During your stay We live ourselves in the church, and will be present to welcome you, answer questions and to serve breakfast. Please let us know when contacting us, if you have a food intolerance etc. so we can take that in account for breakfast. Check in after 4 pm Check out before 11 am Other things to note * The bus stop 'Oosthuizen Dorp', supermarket and snackbar are 2.0 km or a good 20 minutes walk away. * Bikes can be rented at Marja Fietsverhuur (look them up for contact info), we advice to rent them in advance, so they are delivered to the b&b in time. * Amsterdam is well accessible for a day trip, but if you wish to spend all your days in Amsterdam we suggest to choose a closer b&b. * This b&b is not very close to airport Schiphol, which is located South of Amsterdam.
