The house is part of the typical campidanese mansion of our farm. The complex is located in the center of the farm property and it was built in the early '900. This small house is the former home of the farmer that we have renovated for our guests. The space The house is set in a typical Campidanese mansion of the family farm. This small house is the former home of the farmer that we have tried to preserve as much as possible in the structure, materials and furnishings allowing some modern comforts thinking that the structure will be used by people who are looking for peace, silence and rest. The complex is surrounded by olive trees, apricot trees and 4 hectares of orange orchard and during the harvest season you can enjoy clementines and oranges just picked from the tree. Not to mention the sweet figs plant that gives shade to the house .... The access to the house is by a street entrance of the ex-SS 131 (Strada Statale) that leads to the town of Villacidro. You follow a path of olive trees and it leads to the entrance. The apartment has a paved area outside where you can both eat and relax. You enter in the main room where there is a kitchenette stove, refrigerator and all needed dishes cutlery and pans are provided. There is a table with four chairs and two armchairs in front of a large fireplace. This room leads to the first bedroom. This bedroom, the main one , is furnished with period furniture and an antique hand-painted iron bed. The second bedroom has two single beds, that can be joined and also direct access to the outside area shaded by fig tree. The bathroom is fully renovated with large walk-in shower, sink, toilet and bidet. The complex is equipped with a photovoltaic system that can produce electricity for the use of the house and we have equipped the apartment with air conditioning / heating for comfortable stay both in hot weather and in winter. Surrounded by nature, or you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside and a dip in the forest walks of Monti Mannu where there are fantastic trails for hiking and trekking. Villacidro can be also base to visit with day trips the best beaches of the South and East part of Sardinia (Poetto in Cagliari, Piscinas beach, Masua, Buggerru)
