Holiday house for rent! Enjoy the magnificent view and the peace and quiet of a small Kefalonian village. The house is ideal for up to five people. Main bedroom has a double bed. Secondary bedroom has three single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped so you will be able to prepare lunch or cook dinner. There is also an electric washing machine just in case you need it! The space The house is located in Neochori village, 9km north from the popular spot of Aghia Efimia. Nearest port is Sami, 19km to the south with a daily ferry to Patras in mainland Greece, daily ferry to Ithaca and frequent service to Italy's east coast. Kefalonia international airport is 44km away. The village is really quiet so you can enjoy a short or long walk or just sit in the balcony, have a cup of coffee or read a book and enjoy the spectacular view towards Ithaca. Closest beach is 8km away - and it's a famous one, since it has been featured in the Captain Corelli's Mandolin movie! The world famous Myrtos beach is ~25 minutes drive away. For the same amount of driving time you can also access numerous beaches from Aghia Efimia onwards to Sami. Cosmopolitan Fiskardo village, on the north tip of the island, is 22km away. If you have a baby with you, a crib is available upon request. Please note that this is a remote area. Guest access There is a free parking position 20m away from the entrance of the house. Other things to note ***You will definitely need a car!*** Neochori is a small, remote village on the mountain, on the northeastern part of the island. There is no public transport and the nearest area with shops / restaurants / bars is Aghia Effimia, 9km to the south. The village is really peaceful, as there are very few people.
