Countryside cottage in Kent for 6, Dog friendly

Four country pubs within walking distance, The Kentish Rifleman in Dunk’s Green, The Swan on the Green at West Peckham, The Chaser at Shipbourne and The Plough at Ivy Hatch. There are also many National Trust properties within easy reach such as Ightham Mote, Knole Park, Chartwell and Emmett’s Garden as well as Penshurst Place, and gardens like Great Dixter and Sissinghurst. Surrounded by Kent countryside and apple and raspberry orchards, in the Garden of England but only an hour from London. The space The tiny hamlet of Dunk’s Green has its own local pub, the Kentish Rifleman, where the villagers gather on the green on a warm summer’s evening. It gets busy so make sure to book a table in advance of your stay. With many walks across the fields and through the footpaths you won’t need your car whilst you’re staying. One well behaved dog is welcome too. Guest access The cottage is airy and fresh and has been painted and updated during the summer of 2025. Designed to be lived in but provide you with a relaxing stay with everything you need to make you comfortable. All three bedrooms have fine 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen, and regularly replaced duvets and pillows. With fantastic views across the orchards and with a gorgeous, enclosed, private garden, you’ll wish you could stay here for longer! Other things to note Our part of Kent, surrounded by countryside and with views from the cottage across the Bourne Valley, is a wonderful place to spend a wintery week out of season. With the wood-burner in the sitting room, excellent heating and additional blankets to help you keep extra cosy, we hope we’ve thought of everything to see you through the shorter days and longer nights. There's a 3 night minimum stay May to September but I can accommodate 2 night stays from November through to end of April.
