Portland House is a unique 'Boutique' Town House centrally located on Ventnor High Street close to town and Esplanade. This multi level property is spread over 3 floors has all you need. With 4 unique 'themed' double bedrooms, 'Anchor', 'Panther', 'Crocodile' and 'Bumblebee' for you to choose from depending on your mood and acres of space both inside and out, including a courtyard, Sun Deck/Patio and tiered level garden, it's perfect for a break from the 'norm'. We offer discounted Ferry Travel. The space This 3 storey town house has ample space to accommodate guests both inside and out with unique rooms and views throughout. Entering on ground level you have Living Room and Separate Dining Room off to your left, the Living room has a 50” TV with streaming services, seating for 8 and board games for those rainy days. Towards the rear of the property is a separate dining room looking out to the courtyard and through to the fully equipped, bright, kitchen/diner with dining table and seating again looking out not the private courtyard. All amenities are available , full range hob, oven, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Moving up too the multi level first floor is a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Up again to 'Panther' the large Master bedroom with king size bed and large wardrobe plus chest of drawers, a bit of a jungle feel ! At the rear is 'Bumblebee' our Botanic natural feel Bedroom with double bed, separate clothes cupboard and views onto the tiered garden and Boniface downs. Up again to the top floor, careful as the stairs are steep ! You will find 'Anchor' our nautically themed sea facing Bedroom at the front, large king size bed and feature fireplace. At the rear is 'Crocodile' with large King size modern 4 poster, lots of space and storage and again great views to the garden and downs, possibly with that hint of danger ? .....don't look under the bed ;-) What makes this home a fantastic holiday getaway is the addition of the outdoor spaces. Starting with the private enclosed courtyard with Al Fresco Dining facilities it then moves up to an 'All Day' Sun Deck/Patio where you can sunbath or 'chill' from morning through to the evening. Up again is a tiered garden to enjoy and the views. You will love holidaying here and we hope you will love it so much you will return again , Enjoy Joanna and Nick Guest access The whole house is entirely for your private use over 3 floors and an external courtyard with an additional sun deck and tiered garden. On the High Street there is a Bus Stop right outside your door with services all over the island. Parking can be free on the street although there are certain restrictions and free parking in the surrounding streets, please note it gets busy in the summer season. Central Car Park is 300 yards away and you can purchase a daily ticket or we recommend a Visitors Permit that covers you for all parking on the island. Other things to note The house is located in the residential area of the town and we ask that noise levels are kept down late at night especially if using the garden and courtyard. We accept well behaved dogs, please advise if bringing a dog. We recommend that you buy an Isle of Wight Visitors Car Park Permit that will allow you to park anywhere on the island for the duration of your stay
