A good starting point for experiencing Sørlandet with only about 45 min. drive to Kristiansand, Mandal and Evje. This is the place to stop, but also the place to vacation! Under 1 hour drive to Dyreparken. 15 minutes to Mandalselva known for its salmon fishing. Many other great destinations in the area. Rowboat in the fishing/bathing water (fresh water) 800m away. 3 km away is Finsland sports park with good tennis court, sand volleyball court, basketball court and artificial grass football field. Many playgrounds and a small climbing wall are also provided. All can be used for free outside of school hours and during the holidays. The principle is "first come, first served", but most of the time it is free and ready for use. Tennis racquets ohg balls, equipment for badminton, and basketball or football you borrow from Dagfinn.
