Description
Two houses, each cottage has 50m2 + attic (sleeping floor) 20m2. Those houses consist of: - two bedrooms, one with two 80cm wide beds and the other with one 140cm wide bed, - kitchenette, - dining room, - bathroom with shower The cottage is designed for max 4 people. Price for bed linen will be added to this price €20 per person Bed linen set included: pillow with case, duvet with case, sheet and towels. Those cottages are excellent all year round, well insulated and heated with geothermal water The space Check in time starts at 5:00 pm and lasts till 8:00 pm. Hlíð cottages is a part of Hlíð Ferðaþjónusta is a complex of accomodations on the northern shore of lake Mývatn, right beneath the airport. We are situated about one kilometer away from the lakeside, in the middle of a 300 years old lava field and with a fantastic view over the lake. We offer: - Campground: The electricity is accessible and warm showers are free of charge for guests. - Hostel: sleeping bag accommodation (bedlinen not included) or Family Rooms (with bedlinen included) in our Hostel, - Small huts Mini Cottage: 2 people 9m2 cabin which consists on sleeping area with two beds inside. All of the facilities (toilets, showers, kitchen) are situated around our campsite, all of those are around 100-300 m away from your hut. - Bed&Breakfast: Room of 12m2 contains private bathroom. - Cottegs/apartments: 4 peoples fully equipped summerhouses with a wonderful view over the lake and lava field. - Aska deluxe cabin: 2 peoples fully equipped house with a wonderful view over the lake and lava field. You can rent bikes for either one day or ½ a day. Maps with hiking and bike routes are available from our service center. A wonderfully scenic 37 km long country road runs around the lake, ideal for biking.
