The large Smart-TV Blu-ray player and the free Wi-Fi provide entertainment for young and old. The modernly equipped open kitchen offers everything for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner for the whole family. The kitchen is complete with dishwasher, microwave, oven, electric hob, kettle, toaster and filter and Senseo coffee machines. From the roof terrace (south facing) you can enjoy a beautiful view over the valley, forests and the village of Schonwald. You can use 6 deck chairs and 2 tables. On the large side balcony, you can have you breakfast, overlooking the forest edge. Here you will find 2 sun loungers. In total there are three spacious bedrooms with high quality mattresses and duvets. Two bedrooms are on the same level as the living room, and have a shared toilet-shower room. The third bedroom on the upper floor has a private toilet-shower room. This third bedroom is very spacious, 8x4 meters, and ideal for children to play and watch DVD videos on the large TV. A lovely compact swimming pool and a sauna are located on the ground floor of the apartment. These are shared with other residents of the complex, but often you will think that it is your private wellness area. There is also a cellar box for storing your bikes, and a covered parking space. ** Swimming pool is temporarily closed for renovation ** Guest access Our local caretaker will provide you with access. Other things to note A tourist tax will apply of 3.00 Euro per day per guest (adult), and 1.60 Euro per guest per day (children 5-15 yrs old). No tourist tax applies for kids < 5 yrs old. You will get the KONUS tourist card that allows free local public transport in the Black Forest. This tourist tax is payable in cash on arrival to our local caretaker. He will ensure your KONUS passes are ready for immediate use.
